Back story

Vudner Both is an alien truck driver that stands around five feet tall. He is the kind of character that doesn't really care about what others think of him. His species (The Bundar), are considered outcasts due to their demeanor, appearance, and odor.

Vudner Both is an Earth enthusiast. The Bundar are native to a planet within the Vorhill Province, an area of space very close to Earth's solar system. Although contact with Earthlings is strictly prohibited by galactic law, The Bundar make illegal expeditions to the planet to scavenge items of interest.

Evolution

Below are the preliminary drawings made while perfecting the design of the character. You can see from these drawings how Vudner began with very mamalian features. At one point, I began envisioning a slug like appearance, however these designs made me think that the character looked too cute.
